I went 4wheeling with my wife and kids this weekend. Since it was in the high 90's and dusty, my wife didn't want to get out and take many pictures. So, I only have a few.

LooKed like fun .... aren't our H2's fabulous !
Michael --- Pewter Hummer H2 Northern California www.zootsuitstore.com ------------------------------------ |
The really fun part was watching my families' faces when I said we were going up "that hill".
The first hill I went up was small and before we stated the climb my wife said "we won't make that". The next hill was really steep and long. On this one she started to freak out when we were about 3/4 of the way up. After a couple of more big hills she relaxed. All the ATV riders would stop and watch us climb hills. A couple of days after we got home, my 9 year old son said "it's amazing what the H2 can do". He is right. |

Nice photos - mud is good; it's very very good! |

The shields work great. They have a lot of scratches on them that would have been in the doors. |

Shields are easy to put on.
They are just big magnets. It gets easier with practice. Just need to tape them up after you put them on and make sure you can open your doors ![]() One small annoyance is making sure the shields lay flat before and after usage or they are a pain to stick. With heat, they will flatten out quickly though. H2Daddy has said before, tape is cheap---apply generously! I do have scratches on my vehicle, but they are where the shields are not. For a small investment ($450 & time), you can keep your doors scratch free for the most part. I guess it is all in how you perceive scratches. They also help protect when rocks are flung up on the sides from going through mud or gravel roads on the way to a trail or the trail itself. Anyways, nice pictures. |

It has been dry around here lately and hence the reason for a lack of a real good mud job. Don't you worry, after a good rain I will apply a thick coating of mud on the H2. Skulz I had a shield blow-off on the way home. Only one came off and my wife heard it happen, so we found it when we turned around and went back. No real damage to the shield. It came off because the shields for the front doors are a little big and they do not leave much of the door showing so the tape can get a good grip. I am going to trim the front shields a bit so the tape can stick to the door on the front edge. |
Ha I am just playing!! I am envious now I won't have my rover for a bit since I am at college

I know you are kidding. I am envious that you are in college. I remember the fun I had during my college days. Have fun, it's a great time in your life.
