Good luck Greg...I have not seen a used one sold for under 750 beans yet. I have been keeping my eyes out for one as well!

Being an Accessories guy at a Hummer store, I can tell you that if you can find one for that price, something is wrong with it. The parts are not cheap, and it's a real chore to put it on correctly. Good luck in your search, just be careful.

We can get a new tonneau (part#12499433) from Dave for $819.84 vs. $960 retail. The rubber mat (part#12499418) is $106.75 vs $140 retail. That is all plus shipping.

I think I paid $835 wholesale for mine.

I think thats highway robbery...

I mean is not that big! less is more huh?

Somebody needs to make one aftermarket...anyone?

aggiehummer...er 12-02-2005 02:05 AM

Like I said, that part is pretty expensive. There's a lot of precision in getting it to mount watertight and correctly. That's why GM has never come out with a Slantback attachment for the H2, it'd just be too much and too hard to put on.

Have fun installing it as well!!! That was a real hoot. I figured a half hour or so--ended up taking about 3 hours to get it done correctly.

Anyone selling one? or is there a aftermarket yet?

Joe Don 01-23-2006 02:47 AM

I need a cover too.................and found one for $705.00 at www.hummerpartsonline.com...Then I found one for $599.99 at www.hummernut.net. I am going to call my dealer in San Antonio (Ken Bachelor Hummer) and see if they will match the price. The people at the dealership are pretty cool here in Texas and they will pretty much bend over backwards for a loyal buyer........................By the way, fixin to put a 6 inch lift on my sut (it's black on black) and throw some 39" tires (pro-Comp X-terras)on it. I am looking for a good light bar ..... any suggestions? Joe Don

Just checking in to see if anyone has one for sale or found a good deal out there?

Thanks!
