Saturday night, 3/18/06 (21:33:38 P.M.),
at the cottonwood country club (Salt Lake city) I walked out to my H3 at about 10:00 P.M. Noticed that someone had spit 3-4 nice green one's on the front windshield of my H3, *******! So, I got in my rig, started it and turned on the wipers! The next couple of day's went by and the situation stewd in my mind so, this eve. I decided to check out the recorded tape from the eight surveillance camera's at the club. well sure enough, there was a red bmw parked in front of me that two employee's got into and the driver decided to leave me a few gift's. I could easily retaliate but, I really don't want to lower myself down to this punk's level. so, first I think I will talk to the club's GM, and then I will talk to the little prick that did this childish act. What do you H3ers think? I would like to take a bat to his Fu*king head but, we all know that would probably land my ass in jail! ![]() |
I've zero tolerance for punks that vandalize other peoples car for no reason... every morning piss in a jug and leave it in the sun during the day... the hotter the day the better, then after a month pour it down his window defroster vents... God how I hate that ****. I used to take the moral high road... until my last vehicle was nearly totaled by some punk kids 'just out having fun'.

kill the punk but not in the parking lot

Legal approach, get 'em fired from the club.
Illegal approach, invite him to Moab. There are places out there in the desert where you could bury a body and it would not be found for a hundred years. ![]() |

I like humiliation:
Talk to their manager or whoever and tell them you would like the hawker to detail your truck, once or bi-weekly, in the parking lot for awhile. |
Leave a pic of him doing it on his car.He will know someones looking and wont do it again. Also say something to manager of club.
If his cars open put a dead fish or eel in his car. stanky. ![]() |
All BS aside...
Make sure you have the proper proof, back up your proof, present it to the club management AND the police AND STEP ON THE BUG !!! RYD |
OK --- I don't like what happens to our H3's but getting him fired may only provoke a rock through the windshield next time you park. Get the evidence and have himm called into the managers office and slap his hands. I believe he will understand what could have happened hi job. Never know, he may eventually buy an h3 for himself.
We were all kids at one time. It's time for him to grow up, you are just helping him get there faster. |

I like CP's idea. Have the manager make him wash it at least a few times for you. Also have the manager make him understand that he was going to fire him over it but you asked him not to. This will both make him pay a price for what he did and hopefully keep him from getting an attitude against you or other Hummers and causing further vandalism. They didn't ask you what you were looking for when you asked to view the security tapes? |
It all comes down to envy, jealousy and the "why him syndrome." If you drive fun cars and live long enough, something like this will happen at least once in your lifetime. I've only had one incident with someone writing on the side window in lipstick on my H3. When I was 20 someone threw a handful of tarry pebbles from a parking lot on the seats of a one month old '65 Corvette (in those days we thought it was safe to leave the windows down in the summer) - I was beside myself, years later someone keyed the side of the same car in a nice area of Santa Monica.
Then you have Hummers, which like it or not, bring out strong reactions - mostly positive from men, a somewhat puzzled look by women at times, and downright disgust from tree huggers & the less educated. People group the H1, H2 and H3 together due to the good marketing job GM has done on the H2 and 3. I'm known at the hardware store as "Hummer Man" in my small town and I find my kids give me Hummer floormats, Tshirts, garage mats, etc for Christmas and my birthday and tend to identify me with the Hummer now - these vehicles do that. Has anyone ever seen a Corolla T-shirt or been called Accord Man? NOT! The spit on the windshield is the price you pay for driving something that stands out, makes a statement, doesn't look like every other cookie cutter SUV or car out there, and in many ways says who you are and that you really like to go offroad - and to me it's worth it! |
I'm sorry...
Why do we coddle law breakers? Manager, Police --- If a window gets broken (the arab form of punishment) Enought is Enought If you break the law, punishment is demanded... If you break it again harsher punishment is called for. RYD |
Don't bring the tape up ashow he got busted or he will look for ways to do it without getting caught on tape.
Punks like this don't care anything about other people's property. Only when it effects them directly do they wake up. Just remember there are cameras out there in the lot... but this isn't the only lot that BMW gets parked in during the week. |
Sorry to hear about that. Is this a popular club? The kind that attracts high-end, up-scale customers? Sounds like it since the employee drives a BMW. If it is, the owner would be very protective of that image and would not like any bad press. So, here's a thought; go the legal route but with a touch of Don Corleone.
- View the tape with the manager. Don't say anything - let him/her do all the talking. - After you have viewed the tape let the GM tell you what he/she is going to do. - If you like what you hear, then let it go, but make a deal that you don't have to pay to get into the club for a year. - If you don't like what you hear, then ask if that is their final decision, then leave. - Then launch the "bad press" campaign, write to the local paper(s) about the uncontrolled vandalism on the rise at the club, and that employees even vandalising the customer's cars. Don't mention your situation specifically. Be as anonymous as possible. Before you send in the letter, stop by the police station. Find out if any prior reports have been filed against the club. I'm sure you're not the first to have this done to you. Incorporate the history of vandalism in your letter. Also, in your letter, ask a question of the readers: If the employees are free to vandalize parked cars, what are they doing to your drinks/food? Just a thought ......... |
so what did you do ?
