I just purchased an H3 off the dealer lot and absolutely love it. Mine had the chrome appearance package for $850. Even on the website they are called chrome, but mine seem closer to brushed aluminum. They don't look like the chrome wheels or chrome door handles. Do I have the correct crossbows or did the dealer substitute another version? I know there are third party chrome accessories, but I'm only aware of the black and chrome crossbows which are GM factory products. Is there a third one from GM which is not chrome?

Cross bows are not chrome, they are aluminum. I believe chrome wheels are an option and not part of the apperance pkg. Package used to include door handles Mirror caps and cross bows for approx 800.00 now only inlculdes mirrors and door handles. cross bows are additional.

They are reffered to as "bright" for the H2. They are not chrome but infact brushed.....I need to heck for sure, but I am under the impression the roof bows are no longer available in black or bright...(as they should be in my opinion. they never fit well and they look cheap in constrction.) hopefully they are re-designing them

Yes they are brushed.

They are still availabe but are purchased seperately. Chrome package is now $400 and the cross bows are $400. Still $800 total.

From what I can tell most of the aftermaket products are not chrome. They are bushed or stainless steel. I'm told in time they will grey like a kitchen sink. I was also told that chrome will be coming soon but it was the same situation with the H2. Be careful to check if what your buying is actually chrome, if that's what you want.
