First, can't you measure it and second, it's a little too late to be worrying about that now.

Well Smarty Jones no I cant measure it now because its lifted, and I do not have another H2 in my driveway. And second its not to late because I can put the stock tires on if I need to. I could also just buy a sticker, but I wanted to pass the High Rise vehicle inspection in NJ.

Oh and Paragon I joined this forum to exchange ideas and infromation. Why do you have to be so arrogant, if you don't know the answer, then dont respond, if you do then share the info. Isn't that one of the purposes of a forum. It is ignorant people like yourself who ruin these sites. I just joined today, thanks for the warm welcome. Looks like i met my first *******! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Take a look at your post and try again dumbass.

Yea I looked at it, I dont know what your problem is.

John@HGW I just saw you were on here, if you read this, email me the door height if you know it. I met some jerk on here, you probably know him but he is pretty rude and uninformative.
I cant wait til my Super Charger comes in next week. I never got your email last night on the arms and the cross drilled intalled. I will give you a call on your cell today to remind you, I know your swamped. If I dont, call me when that stabilizer comes in. RR

Your lazy question. What exactly does the "factory door height" have to do with state inspection? Did you chop your top and lower the roof line?

If you wanted to know what the distance from the ground the door sill is for a factory H2, you should have asked for that. Instead you asked for the "factory door height." Get it now, Smarty Jones.

Rosetti21 02-28-2006 01:44 PM

Lets start over Paragon, I am sorry for the "Lazy Question" but when I called DMVNJ special inspections this morning, thats what they asked me? Being a new H2 owner and not wanting to bother Shumacher at HGW for another question, I just figured one of you guys could help me out. They told me not more than 4 inches over. I think I am way over that. Do you have any suggestions on what to do for inspection?
Again sorry for not stating my ???? correctly, but give me a day or two i am new to this site. Thanks in advance for any help you could offer. Ryan

I grabbed it for 42k, do you think thats about right?

DDWH 02-28-2006 01:51 PM

I don't remember the exact specs and mods. Just remember seeing it on ebay a few times and thinking it was pretty nice and had some nice mods!

PARAGON 02-28-2006 01:55 PM

Excuse me for being a wee bit skeptical but you said "I had a lift put on" and you don't have any Hummer H2 purchases on your Ebay account. A lot of shoe sales, but no H2s.

Rosetti21 02-28-2006 01:59 PM

the lift wasnt purchased on ebay, shumacher at hgw did the lift, why are looking at my ebay account? What is your deal thats creepy

HummerNewbie 02-28-2006 02:01 PM

You can't be more than 4"s above stock? Man, that sucks. Your lift looks like blows that spec away by a couple of inches, then add the increased height due to the tires. Sorry, don't have an answer to your questions, but couldn't you figure the numbers by adding a few numbers. First, measure the height of the new tires. Don't know what they are but lets say it is 37"s versus the 35"s that come stock. Take that one inch of vehicle height increase then add the size of the lift. Looks like a 6" lift plus the 1" increase from the tires gives you 7"s over stock. Someone correct me if I am wrong here. Looks good though.
