Maybe a stupid question, but when you don't have the air on, but hit the air re-circulation button does that actually turn on the air because when I hit that the air coming through the vents gets really cold like the AC is on? I was showing my dad when he rode w/ me to the store and he was like, that's gotta be the AC.

The button is to let outside air in vehicle. It recycles air inside vehicle when turned on.If you are going threw an area that has a bad smell you dont want to turn it off.

Hi everybody, I'm back in town and will be posting some topics soon.

As far as the A/C goes, I know what you're talking about, I was confused at first too.

You push in the center part of the left A/C dial and that's regular A/C. If you push in the center of the right dial, that re-circulates the air on "Max".

Having it on max, where just the right dial is lit does turn on the compressor, so yes, the A/C is on.

Ok now Im confused, I thought the air recirculation button switches between outside air and inside air.We talking about middle correct.

killian 06-26-2005 01:13 PM

Yes, sorry the middle dial.
If you push the button and the light is on, your vents are closed and you're on inside air only. If you don't want the a/c to be blowing cold, just adjust the temperature dial one or two clicks. The compressor will cut out but you'll still have the fan on inside air.

....I think. (I could be wrong) Buyer, does this sound right to you?

Even though I'm male and it's not within my genetic coding I may just have to go read the owners manual.

Killian,

Good to have you back. Was beginning to think that now that you have your rig you didn't need us anymore

killian 06-26-2005 06:06 PM

Uh, well, I don't. DRTYFN especially.

Seriously though, I had to split to Pennsylvania for a little while, kind of a family thing.

I missed my H3 while I was gone, now that I'm back I've been rubbing it softly and whispering to it.
