Here's a thought. And I am thinking out loud and from no experience at all.

If your pedal went to the floor, but your steering is still fine and you don't have any funny steering noises, I wonder if they bent/crimped a line leading to the Hydroboost component. My theory would be you go to hit brakes and get pressure to a point but then with little flow coming from the pump due to maybe a crimp or something......

It would be something you could look see and notice.

BTW, my brakes go to the floor at times and at times they don't. But when they go to the floor it's a rather long constant pressure, not a quick hard push.

same here Tomp. 2004 H2, 9,000 miles. When in PARK or in DRIVE while stopped, constant pressing of the pedal will make the pedal touch the floor. But not on one hard push.
