Is anyone out there having a hard time posting pictures?

I keep geting this message when trying to post a picture.

There was an FTP (file transfer) error. The detail is 'Upload to '/testdir/test.txt' failed. Detail: '552 Transfer aborted. Disk quota exceeded

How do you get around this?

You get around it by hosting the pics somewhere else - such as photobucket.

I resized a photo to nearly nothing and then tried cropping down to nearly nothing.

Nothing doing.

It seems like posting pictures works for a while then it blocks me from posting. I sent the web master a snap shot of the diolog box we are getting with (Contact us) at bottom of screen..

the tricks I found out you have to delete some old pics you posted so that it'll create some space in the memory drive but you have to hurry up before someone else take that space like all the padding and stuff.

Solution is really simple (easier than finding pics and deleting) and free.

go to Photobucket.com, start your account, upload your pics (should probably resize them first like you do here normally).

Then, there are 3 windows below the pic. The bottom one is a image address.

Highlight and copy the address. Hit reply, add your text and then paste the image address.

Give it a try.

Tip: add your photobucket page to your browser favorites, it's hard to find later if you don't.

Another thing, this will keep the server here working less.

A word of caution - the adress for your photobucket account will be available to others here once you post your first pic. I don't recommend nekkid pics of your wife. Unless your into that sort of thing..... like me.
