I am looking for 37's that look agressive, not too much road noise, and ride nicely on and off road. Any suggestions? MTR'S?

37 12.50 17 BF Goodrich MT
35 12.50 17 TOYO Open Country MT (looks more aggressice in my opinion) GoodYear Wranglet MTR 37 12.50 17 |
I have the MT/Rs and, personally, they are not a good match to the H2 performance-wise. Mine absolutely will not balance so that they don't shake between 70 - 80 MPH and I have weights inside and out.
I am not all that happy with how well the MT/Rs clean themselves out when in the mud either. I don't think I got as good as traction as others did while in Moab and I was aired down to 18psi while some of them were at 25psi. It's no were significant enough that I am looking to trade out before I wear 'em out but I won't be replacing them with MT/Rs. Plus I got a damn good deal on mine when I bought them, so I can't complain a whole lot. |

It seems like, when I watched you, you were getting good traction. Maybe it was just your AWESOME driving abilities. ![]() ![]() But you're not the only one I've heard complain about getting them balanced. I run BFG Mud TA and I like them. The older they get, the louder they get, but they work great and seem to balance nicely. I think this set has about 30k miles on them. Balance and rotate frequently. |
