I had the dealership replace my arm rests that had some of the silver paint rubbing off on the high traffic areas. I'm sure this is the same type of situation. If the areas that you are speaking of have been custom painted, I'd take it back to the place that painted it!

Its the silver factory pieces. Mainly on the drivers door panel. The small area I think around the door handle.
I took the car to the local GM dealer, and they said they would have to replace the whole door panel as it is one piece and I would have to take it to a HUMMER dealership 1 hour away to have them authorize it.

If your H2 is still under warranty, they have to replace them. I had the same problem and they replaced mine, no problem. They don't have to replace the whole door panel. It's just the part around the door handle.
