Just inside the door there is a sticker there that should have what the recommended tire pressures are for the stock wheels. I think the stock adventure recommends 35 psi.

I keep mine at 40, it keeps the TPM quiet.

wannabeH3 12-19-2005 08:12 PM

i got mine at 35 psi, 18 lbs of air, the rest is Co2

Hows that co2 working for you? I'm going to be ordering a powertank next month I think.

Wannabe - do you know how many fill-ups you get out of a tank. I'm debating whether to go with the CO2 setup or a portable compressor.

Ahhh....thanks.

So for those too lazy to check the link and do the math. The 10# tank will let you air-up all 4 tires from 15-35psi about 4-5 times.

we were out wheelin over the weekend and i aired down to 18 pounds then we got back to the trailhead and the jeep guy had a tank with c02 and he filled his up first then let me do mine, and there was still plenty left, prolly coulda done another rig easily!

CUZICAN 12-21-2005 08:38 AM

Maybe a stupid question, but what is the advantage of using CO2 over air?
