i want to put either 20 or 22 in rims on this thing. They will probably be 20x9. what is a good set of tires to get. I do need to make sure though that they are not taller than the current 315/70-17's i have on there right now becasue this beast only clears my garage by 1/4 or so as it is.

You're on the wrong forum.

I run a 20x10in rim and i dont think i would run anything smaller. I like how it makes the tires look wider. Im also running a 35x13.50-20 and(pro comp extreme A/T) and they do just fine and look nice and meaty without being taller than stock. Im not sure if i would go with a 22in rim. I ran the 20s at Tellico and didnt have any problems(enough sidewall to use my back tire as pivot spot on a rock to swing front end around) but im not so sure the results would be the same on the 22s. With all fairness i didnt really have to put my sidewall on rocks too often but what we did do i had no problems.

Overall the procomp is a decent tire. It is quiet on road, wider than most 35's and good in wet conditions as they are siped. If i had my choice however i wouldve gone with the Toyo m/t but at the time they were on national back order. As ive never run the Toyo M/Ts i cannot compare the two. I have had to take the tires in a couple times to get them balanced but overall balance out pretty good. I had them balanced out perfect then i rotated my tires(directional tire)then all of a sudden the balance was way out. Brought them back to get rebalanced a couple time and its much better, but not smooth as glass as before.

Nah... 20's are not that much bling. I plan on keeping the 17's also. Just like the looks of a little larger rim is all.

actaully I saw some 28's... with neon... maybe those?

What does my ghetto bling have to do with his tires?

I'm working on getting them to blink to the YOUR music.
