Talking to another H2 owner at a gas station. He mentioned that he had flowmaster exhausts put on his H2 and it increased his gas mileage to around 16mpg. I hate to raise the bull**** flag without being sure, so since I don't know if this anywhere near true, I figured I would pose this question to my peeps here on this forum. So is this crap or what?

Maybe he did the Flowmaster and egg mod. To do this mod, you need 2 items. The Flowmaster exhaust kit and an egg. Here it is:
1-Install Flowmaster exhaust kit EXACTLY as stated in the instructions. 2-Install one (1) egg between the gas peddle and your shoe. Careful not to let the egg slip down. 3-Drive your new 16 MPG HUMMER! Other than that, dude is running ricer mod math. If he added the Flowmaster sticker, it was worth another 8HP. |

What was his prev. mileage, 14.4? possible to increase 1.5 with A good flowing exhaust. Did he perform the mod in spring when the temps are rising then definatly he will increase his mileage. Lots of varibles. I would say anywhere from 1-3 mpg could be gained with A real good exhaust mod.

I found the trick to great gas mileage with my Hummer. I let it sit in the garage more, but then I do drive I have a smile with every drop of gas it takes!

That's exactly what I have ![]() The Volant cold air intake makes the truck SO MUCH more responsive and the Magnaflow has a REAL AWESOME throathy growl. Yo definately WON'T get better mileage, went from 11.4 MPG to 10.2 MPG ![]() |
