I'm ready to order a Gobi. Has anyone had problems with the rack interfearing with XM reception? I think my antenna would end up behind the wind deflector.

No problems with XM and Gobi.

The wind fairing is made with a cutout to fit over the forward part of the antenna base. The antenna is behind the fairing but again, no problems.

Better still, I'm pretty confident the Gobi fairing saved my antenna during a recent country drive.

Thanks for the input, I installed the XM myself and the antenna is slightly forward and to the right looking at the antennas from the front. Is the position of the defector adjustable fore and aft?

You will need to specify what year you have. Their are two differnt fairing styles. One with the cut out and one without. The one with the cutout is for the 05/06 and is on the DR SD.
