hi all...has anyone installed a remote starter on their truck yet? i plan on installing mine as soon i get my truck. i know i need a passlock bypass but not sure which one. does anyone know? any help is greatly appreciated!

Im geting one put in next week I would go for a quality unit not those $69 cheapos.Stay away from pep boys, apliance stores,and circut city.Find a good local installer (ask around) he will know corect passlock bypass and relays.Im going with the viper alarm/auto start its more but worth it.

we have probably done about 20-25 remote strats so far....in my opinion theya re cool, but if not installed rightm they pose more of a problem then they do a convienance.

Use Viper 5000 or 591xv
