Hey Jerr, what are they charging you to install that?

I looked at the same thing and they wanted 399 for the unit and another 500 to install to work with the bose, onstar, and steering wheel controls....

Jerr 02-04-2005 01:03 AM

charging $1,700 for everthing

Mr. I - Man 02-04-2005 02:50 PM

DennisAJC 02-06-2005 04:55 AM

should of used the 1000/1 would pushed better. that 500/1 is a waste unless that is an 8W7 haha..

Jerr 02-12-2005 08:50 PM

maybe if you heard it with the 500/1 , it sounds great , yes i know a 1000/1 would work better but the 500/1 sounds good enough for me , any louder and id probably go insane , but since you kno a lot about amps...since the 500/1 is a waste

Justin,
$399.00... No way.. unless its out refurb??

What are you talking about??

PhillyPhreak 02-16-2005 11:53 PM

he's replying to the guy who claimed a shop offered it to him for $399....I've seen refurbished for $800....$399 is way to cheap. Why do aftermarket radios have trouble with the onstar system?

JustinRedH2 02-17-2005 12:37 AM

Sorry, I meant to say 1399, not 399... I wish that screen was that cheap!!!

It looks sweet... but my biggest hurdle will be getting a 10'' sub somewhere inside the SUT without blocking the use of the rear gate or folding the seats down so my bulldog has a place to hang out...

PhillyPhreak 02-17-2005 01:02 AM

no biggie...I average 1 typo for every two threads I post....yea I wish it was 399 myself...cheapest I have seen is $1,899(that includes the radio and Nav as a package)

CONRAD II 02-17-2005 02:05 AM

My onstar & stearing wheel controls still work with my kenwood 7015. I used the soundgate module-x designed for the 2005's. I have to say that its amazing. By the way Jerr you should spring for the nav system and a good backup camera, it was worth it for me!
