Another leak! YIPEE! I am so happy! First let me say I am in a very poor mood anyway from a stressful day, and this tops it off for the ride home. Driver side this time! I will let you know how this one turns out. Right now VT is going though it's 6 day of rain in a row.

I am looking for a SUPER PISSED EMOTION to put here...but none of them come close to the way I feel right now.

well, there was a break in the rain so I needed to work fast. I dried and sealed the door harness again...(i had done that last time I did my passenger side) and the roof marker light again...as I did that before too. I am almost 100% sure it was the door harness...it seemed to be coming from that area. this time I sealed it inside and out, rather than just outside it.

we will see! Now I have to take out all the driver carpet and dry it out tomorrow.

Well, it stopped raining today! It is said to start again tonight, and then who knows. So after it rains tonight I will see if I got it fixed. *fingers crossed* I have the carpet and pad all dried out, and did another seal neatly of permatex aronud the outter edge of the door harness seal (where it meets the door frame) I only hope that if someone else has this issue some time - they can follow my trail and solve the issue.

Instead waiting for the rain to come why not use a garden hose, this way you can stop the water at any time and check for leaks. Put it where you think it may be leaking and test it out, its best to work your way up(bottom to top)

If you can get another person to help, remove as much interior panels as possible and have the other person use the water hose on the outside and you can sit inside the truck with a flashlight, should be able to locate the source of the leak within mins.

hope this helps

Good Call H2sin, and I would do that as I did it last time. But around here...you do not have to wait long for the rain latily. I assume it is going to rain before I am out of work!
