If a customer attempts to tow a trailer equipped with electronic brakes and does not use a controller (requiring them to remove the roof-mounted off-road spot lamp wiring harness from the Mid BEC), the trailer's electronic brakes will be activated when the Roof-Mounted Off-Road Spot Lamps are turned on.</P><A name=ss3-1459306><A href="http://127.0.0.1:9001/servlets/BlobShtml?ShtmlFile=1459306&pubid=293&evc=sm#ss3-1459306"> <H5>Correction</A></H5> To prevent activation of the trailer's electronic brakes, a modification to the off-road spot lamp wiring harness must be performed. Use the procedure listed below.</P>

Klaus, what about the front off road light option that uses the same plug in that the roof harness would use? Does that engage the brakes as well?
