I work at a GM dealership and this came straight from GM:


HUMMER HOT SHEET - SEPTEMBER 8, 2005

H3 Option price changes - The following option price increases will take effect Friday 9/16/05:
Sunroof (CF5) - new MSRP will be $950 ($150 increase)
Chrome Wheels (QB9) - new MSRP will be $900 ($100 increase)
Off-Road Suspension Package (ZM6) - new MSRP will be $1,175 ($250 increase)
Adventure Package (1SB) - new MSRP will be $1,375 (due to the $250 increase for ZM6)
Trailer Hitch w/ Wiring Harness (Z82) - new MSRP will be $390 ($120 increase)

Sold orders submitted prior to Friday 9/16/05 will be price protected (refer to Admin Message #BAI20040623-01, dated 10/04/04, for complete details of GM's Price Protection program). Orders submitted on or after 9/16/05 will carry the new option prices detailed above.

Bad news. Does a "normal" refundable deposit order protect from the increases?

It should, because the dealer is ordering it as a "Retail Sold" unit and not a "Retail Stock" unit.

Yea, if it's not sold, anything invoiced after the 16th (even trucks already built right now) will take on the new pricing...
