My truck has had a failed block, but not under my ownership. Most trucks you will find for sale that fall into the suspect years have already had the engine replaced.

I said in a previous thread on this subject that I was not completly convinced that my truck did not have a blown head gasket/cracked block. I AM NOT CONVINCED PEOPLE! It was a BAD day. A real bad day. She's back at the shop, and I got to ride in my first tow truck after the truck pissed coolant all over the engine causing lots and lots of steam. Not cool. Not cool at all.

If it pissed coolant all over the intake area, it is probably nothing more that the t/stat crossover gaskets. Mine did that and I thought I had lost the radiator hoses, it was pissing out so fast.

Sounds like you are telling , but I 'm not asking?

Under the UCMJ this is grounds for discharge!

X2 HAHA!

Fortunately, it's not that kind of blockage. Though, I think, negligent constipation can be grounds for a BCD.

A BCD for a lack of a BM !! LMFAO

MarineHawk 03-21-2006 03:02 AM

If that were really the case, every MRE consumer would be discharged. We used to call them "Meals Refusing to Exit" (as well as "Meal Rejected by Ethiopians").

Thats only if you eat the MRE cheese, but how can you resist it is damn good with a little hot sauce and crackers!!

MarineHawk 03-21-2006 04:36 PM

I was usually too hungry to care, but sometimes the strange variations in the color and consistency of the multiple congealed susbstances in the "cheese" packets feaked me out a little. Often, I would trade them for the seemingly-safer (and almost as tasty) PB option. Other times, the "cheese" seemed damn good.
