Will the H2 SUV bra fit on the SUT?

We still have it in the garage.

it should - same front end.

You're egging us all on since your a girl aren't you?

I do have a serious question, did the bra every cause any paint quality issues on the old SUV? Just curious.

h2co-pilot 11-22-2005 05:30 PM

That's what I think VT.

We didn't have it on all the time. But I would assume that if you left it on there would be an eventual color difference and moisture problems. There was concern about some clips damaging the paint blowing in the wind while driving though.

I am very disappointed. You built up my hopes just to tear them down. Off to therapy...

The Colgan full hood bra for the H2 fit my old SUT just fine.

Dan 11-22-2005 06:08 PM

It will fit

There's no pictures of what this full bra on the H2 looks like? Does it cover the entire hood? I don't car about the bumper.

THANK YOU!

I'm off to market to purchase a full bra.

Now I just need to get my truck back from the dealership so I have something to put the bra on.

Fubar 11-22-2005 06:53 PM

Next question. How easy or hard is the bra to install and remove? Is it something that once on because of the trouble involved you just leave it on or is it pretty easy to remove?

Thanks again for the picture.

Remove often! No not that one, the one on the truck. Otherwise moisture and friction can cause real problems. Ruined the paint on a 300zx I had.

Fubar 11-22-2005 07:51 PM

Great thanks

... after removing the painters' tape.

It takes maybe 10 minutes to put on or take off once you get the hang of where all the hooks go.

It will puff up on the highway right behind the headlights since you can't get a hook in that area. If you get mud in that area it will definitely marr the paint. I put a strip of shields tape along the leading edge of the hood, right where it meets the grill before the bra goes on. Works good.

It says not to wash it but mine had been through the washing machine a bunch of times now and its fine. I wash it twice in a row to make sure all the grit is out, then air dry it.

h2co-pilot 11-23-2005 11:44 AM

Yeah, I've washed it too. Came out fine.

Dan, I got my Radar the other day.

Thank you.

Cool! Do you like it? They cram a lot into one issue.
