Ok, I'm the first one to tout the good things about our H3s. I must say though that NASA could learn a thing or two about material collection techniques from our the good folks at Hummer!

If they explore a muddy planet, they need not waste one penny on how to collect material samples. All they have to do is copy the rear door/fender area and the front bumper where it's hollow in front of the front tires of the H3!

Keeeripes! On a snowy, muddy day, that back door is useless. I cleaned about four thousand and fifty five pounds of mud out of the front bumper and twenty two pounds out of the wind/weather labyrinth between the rear door and rear fender. The first people that aftermarket a nice fix for these two areas is gonna make some MONEY!

Rant off, still love the H3 but that's ridiculous.

I took the end caps off of the front bumper of my H2 (the wingy thingys) for the same reason! Holy Shiite! And they are perfectly shaped so when you try to blast the mud out with a high pressure hose, well, you get hosed.

Sean
Ps - you coming on the Mojave Road with us?

You know the sad thing? I'm a shift worker. I'll have been off for six weeks for a knee surgery. THAT'S the weekend I go back to work! Oh well,it pays the bills.

C'mon - admit it - that knee is still hurting a little - I think one more week off is MANDATORY!

Do mudflaps help in keeping at least the door handles cleaner?

Or should I expect my chrome door handles to be brown when I go to Tahoe in the winter?
