Anyone think about installing a 3rd row? Is it possible?

Don't see how. Even if you sat on a small box your head would hit the sealing and your knees would be in your chin.

I'm just going to duct tape the kids to the floor back there so no seat needed

Velcro works too! Not quite as messy when it gets hot!

Yeah, I like that! It's reusable and you can sew it right into their cloths. Would be useful to keep them on the couch as well

I recently rode in the much sought after mini-van killing third seat of a new Nissan Pathfinder, and I can tell you that this is a seat in name and shape only. You could barely get in and out of the thing, and the seat is only a few inches above the floor so that you legs have to be folded. For an adult, it was more like a torture chamber. These things are really only practical for hauling the kids around in as well as giving the Marketing Department something to brag about.

I investigated a third row seat. It can be done for about $1200, but it has to be rear facing and can only be done with lap belts.

I need forward facing and shoulder belts for the booster seat.

aww rear facing seats are the bomb though.... my parents had a wagon with one of those that thing rocked!
