How much weight savings is there between the synthetic cable over the OEM Warn steel cable?
Am I correct that I will lose about 25' of length if I opt for the syn cable over the OEM steel on a 9500 winch? It seems like the Syn cable would allow for more cable to fit on the spool since it would lay better. |

About 40lbs.
You won't necessarily be able to spool on more synthetic rope. But, you can buy and extra 50-100 foot length with loops and use it as an extension. Just keep it wound up and stored in the back. |
If it wasn't for a synthetic line, I may not be here today
last year we snapped a cable which would have definately come through my windshield. I say go synthetic all the way!!! |

I have a 100 foot synthetic X-Line line, red safety clasp and aluminum fairlead rated for a 9.5ti winch for sale. It has never been spooled.
