I recently purchased an H2 and was wondering for people that have had them a while how many miles can I expect with these SUV's before I start having to do some repair work?

leave it a lone and stock; and you'll be fine for a good long time. Start messing with stuff and expect to keep tinkering because the choices are endless.

oh, yeah welcome and congrats with your purchase.

I preemptively replaced my tie rods at 482 mi.

a/c belt at 53,000 miles. Ended up changing the serpentine belt as well. Just 'cause it was there. Nothing else going on.

Superchargers are cool.

17,000 and had to replace the tranny due to an unidentified transmission problem. Warranty covered. No other issues.

We've replaced nothing. The truck is like a rock.

12,500k only little problems. Nav fan burned out.

I have 15,000 miles on my 2005 and have never had a single problem with any part of it. I think FUBAR gave you the best advice: leave it stock and you can't go wrong. You can add things like roof racks, etc., but IMO leave the mechanicals alone and you'll do fine.

Congrats on a good decision. Our family loves our H2.
