it's too late for pix, it's raining. The latch goes in the opening with the key hole to the right. There is a u bracket that bolts on from the inside that holds the latch in place. you then adjust the lock bolt until it holds the latch tight. I just bought a black lock . I will try to install it tomorrow night and get some pix

did you guys have any problems installing the pin that holds the a-arm up? I rcvd a replacement a-arm and the pin does not fit through the top of the a-arm...(the one that is removed to allow the carrier to drop down.)

Thanks, but I did get the latch in, it was a bit of a pain threading the bolt from the inside. Now I have forward and back play at the swivel. Not a vibration but I can move it about .5 to 1 inch by pushing on the tire. Any thoughts. Maybe the bearing aren't seated right?

That pin is a pain. I had to keep threading it in and out to get it just right. Then when I installed the tire I had to redo it again due to the weight of the tire I guess.
