wont start or even attempt to start.

not dead, everything works in acc/on position, but engine wont crank when i turn key.

i thought it may be a problem w/ my remote starter (Python alarm), but a search brought up a few results pointing to ignition switch/solenoid.

is there ANYTHING i can do to get this SOB started 1 time (only SLIGHTLY handy) so i can drive it to the dealer? i'm in brewster ny and my dealer is Mt. Kisco Hummer in, u guessed it, Mt. Kisco...gonna be one helluva towing bill!!!!

thanks in advance and happy turkey day!

put the key in the run position. jump the starter solenoid through the right front wheel well.

Are you still on Warranty, if so, just call the 1-800 #

how do i jump the starter thru wheel well? (sorry, not much experience)

can an idiot like myself do more damage by attempting it?

and no, no more warranty

thanks for responding so quickly!

I had the same thing happen a week ago-I simply turned the key off/on mulitple times in rapid sucession. Old GM starter trick. The solinoid has gotten either stuck or pitted.
