We used my Sony digital camera as a video recorder and sadly ran outta memory before we got to the really good stuff.
I will go back probably tomorrow and get more footage as the lil ole H3 can REALLY climb some hills. The hills in these vids are pretty hard for my brothers Cherokee, but are pretty sissy for the H3. You can see in the vids that my wide ass tires and wheels tuck nicely into the fender. /cheers Clicky for vids |

Pretty cool vids bparker, looks like you're having fun with your truck... didn't see the wheels tucking into the fender though... I'll have to watch them again...

Whoa, radical.
I watched all four. Put the camera on a tripod next time, please. More please... |
Well believe it or not but those were recorded on this little digital camera.

Quick tip on the downhill from the first video, don't use the brake, the ABS system should slow the vehicle down, just make sure you have the rear diff locked and are in 1st gear, then take your foot off the gas and the brake and cruise down the hill below 2 mph. That'll save tremendous wear on the brakes.

Parker, this is a great mount:
http://www.stickypod.com/ I use it on the dash. You can even mount it outside the truck. The little Sony cam you used is cool too. I used it for this video (but held it in my hand): http://www.lingenfelter.com/0-60.mpeg |
The only reason I said that is because that's what we did during the H3 experience, down a 60% grade, and we cruised down smoothly at about 2-3 mph.
