I'm planning to buy a H2 in the near future. I've got to thinking about the lifecycle of the excisting H2. Any news about newer version coming out in next few years or even a facelift to the current model? Any rumors about the 2006 H2, whats new compared to the 2005?

Looking back and comparing to H1 it seems to me that H2 as it is now will be around for a while.

I think 2007 will be new...but at the shows I have seen H2's with slightly different grill guards, and body molding...maybe for 2006 year?! But, I personally think 2007 is going to be the face lift year.

There are now no plans to redo the H2. I imagine even the Alpha version is in question even after a GM announced it was moving forward with it a few weeks ago.

There is a restructuring going on at GM due to the huge losses and several things are being cut and factories being shut down. A revamp of the H2 was mentioned as something that is not going to happen in the foreseeable future.

I agree with Paragon. The H2 is still unique and with their financial problems I think you'll see the H2 as is for the foreseeable future. Most you can expect is "minor" changes.

I hope they don't change it for a long time....then I won't have a desire to trade up my vehicle
