Krawlers are DOT approved in a 35x13.50/15, 37x12.50/17, and a 39.5x13.50/17. The 39s are very rare and super expensive right now. All the Krawlers you can buy new are DOT approved. You can get stickies(red labels) used from rock crawling competitors, but they will last about 1500 miles on the street.

Thanks for the props on my truck, Matt and VT, but Matt, if you're going to run 37s, I'd highly recommend at least the 4 inch lift if you plan on doing any offroading. Either a 4 or 6 inch lift is next on my list of mods, to get rid of the rubbing that comes with even mild offroading.

And congrats on getting the H2!!!

LOL Paragon!
Matt, not really any regrets, I'm just saying that 37" tires on a non-lifted H2 is far from optimum when it comes to off-roading. And without cranking my torsion bars all the way up, even small bumps like the transition from the street to my driveway caused some pretty severe rubbing. |
TXSUT, that's not entirely true. I'm running 37" MTRs with minimal rubbing. "Minimal" = no rubbing severe enough to wear through any of the plastic trim pieces. My H2 doesn't have air ride, and the torsions are as is from the factory. And I do offroad the rig pretty severly.
Luck of the draw seemed to be a factor. |

Somebody buy a set of those Krawlers and lets take em to Moab and do Our own test and see exactly how they do versus all the other tires we all run.!.! Adam.
