People have talked many times about how the rear on the H2 sags, or appears to be sagging.

My truck always looks higher in the back than the front. Even without the air-ride raised. Is this because the SUT is missing weight in the back, or is this something they changes in the later years?

I think most are like yours, higher in the back. One of the industry types can confirm this but I think it has to to do with improving crash performance. Its not an SUT thing.

My rear sags only because I'm 46 and lazy.

What would be the cause of it sagging? Has anyone said?

Please try not to be "cute" with you responses!

I know many have said they need to crank up the front end of the truck, to match the rear of the truck.

My old POS jeep wrangler had a rear end sagging issue...but that was due to over worked rear stock leaf springs...that were 11 years old too!

I found out just how much higher my rear was this weekend when I hit the rear roof rack in a parking garage.

Note: My SUT is exactly 6'9-1/8" tall

any damage? that sucks...

It scraped the top of my rear roof rack about 8" wide. Just the plastic part at the top. Not noticeable unless your standing in the bed. Still irritating though as the damn thing cleared the 6'9" bar at the entrance. That should've been the lowest point in the garage. Another funny thing is when it happened there was an H2 parked in the spot right next to it. Maybe he hit it too and thought screw this I aint going any farther.

Driving in that garage gave new meaning to the pucker factor though. Each time we passed a beam everyone would go "EWWW that was close".

VTSTOMPER 10-26-2005 04:10 PM

I have felt that feeling before. It sucks.

Maybe just a little in your avatar, Ken.
