Awesome pictures man! Hey what tent kit is that?

Ipedog 02-20-2006 05:49 PM

Beautiful as always.

X Racer 02-20-2006 05:56 PM

The tent is made here in Venezuela.

We are also thinking to send a some to USA, because the costs would be a lot lower than those you can find there.

Thanks

I have seen this type of tent, but only on the web. I do not believe they are made or sold in the US.

Depending on the quality, price, and size/weight you may want to miore seriously look into selling them over here.

Looks great!

Man, you have a great setup. That is what a vehicle like the H3 is made for. The rooftop tent is really great. How solid and how roomy is it. Maybe you could send a couple of closeups. That kind of setup is popular on African expeditions and in Australia. Keeps some critters away during the night.
How heavy is it? Is the flooring plywood?
Either way, congrats on the great truck & setup and mostly thumbs up for using the H3 as it should be used!

X Racer 02-21-2006 12:33 PM

The tent is very solid, because the flooring and the supports are 100% aluminium.
The dimmensions are 86.6 x 59 inches opened and 59 x 43.3 x 14 inches closed.
The mattress is 3 inches thick and I think it weights 100 pounds.
I really don´t know the shipping costs and US taxes for now, but probably It will be 1300 US$ or less.
