Has anyone installed or even seen in the flesh this new part for the Volant Cold Air system. I am curious in particular about what mods need to be done to the hood to allow the air into the scoop?

How the hell does that get cold air when it is sitting damn near on top of the radiator????

I have no idea. Looks like it pulls air from 2 sources and then it would mix in the filter chamber/box? Looks like it will be a high dollar setup!

There are various different scoops available out there which will allow air to be pulled in from there.

I don't think it will add any benefit unless a supercharger is used.
