Got to do some new trails near our place in Vermont this weekend, and found a cleared out area with lots of terrain features. It was obviously a popular place for atv's judging by the trails, but I had a lot of fun too.

I was alone on this one so I couldn't always take pics during the good parts. Had to be able to put it in park and get out. Here is a clearing on the way.

The stream is a little low this time of year.

This place had lots of sand, which I had not been on yet. It was fun because you could dig yourself into and back out of trouble very easily.

Most of these trails are not "Humma sized" but that made it more interesting. Thats gotta be 22" of ground clearance at least.

Nice pics. Did you have any trouble finding your way around? I bet the Garmin iQue would've come in handy.

BKLYNH2:

Where is your place in VT? My girlfriends parents have a place in Pikes Falls about five miles from Stratton. I need to go up there durring the summer to go see some of these trails you were on. I don't usually make it up there in the summer, only been there durring the ski season.

Thanks SJ -

Piker-
We are near the Stratton golf course, off of the access road. I too did not go up all that often in summer, but since I got the H2 I try to go as often as possible. If you run through the Photos section there are a few older threads with more VT pics. Also we are having an off road outing on August 23-24 up there if you are interested please private topic me or post in local events area. We would like to get a few more people to come out.

Peter,(that's my name too)

I would love to come to the outing, but I don't have a hummer or any truck for that matter. I'm just an admirer for now, but I hope to change that soon! Hope to include myself in any future events.

BTW... since you make the trip to VT often in the H2 what kind of gas mileage do you get?

Pete
