After I put on the splash guards this morning I was removing the small GM badges on the door. Got the one off the drivers door, then went to passengers side.

To my surprise, no GM badge or H3 badge on passengers door. I looked back at the pictures I posted and they aren't there. Guess I was too busy admiring the overall look to notice.

Would have noticed when I washed it for the first time (had the same problem with an explorer a few years back and discovered it a week after I got it).

Since it is supposed to be there, I guess I'll get the dealer to order me one and put it on. I'm gonna suggest to my counterpart in Shreveport that he go in and sell them a vision sensor to make sure the badges get stuck on.

Other than that, 633 miles and happy as a clam.

If I remember correctly, I have seen them online for about $30 to $35 a pop. Damn. I guess I should start stealing them and sell them for $20.

Hey HUMBLEAG,
What's a good way to remove the gm badge off the side of my H3?
been wanting to do it for awhile, but worried about scratching the door.

anyone else have any ideas?

thanks.

I took a piece of fishing line and pulled it gently from behind the badge. No marks whatsoever, as the glue pad that holds the thing on is pretty thick. I then sprayed the little remaining glue that was stuck on the door with some WD-40 and wipped the excess away. Piece of cake, no scratches.

Hair dryer(set on high) or a heat gun.
