H2 Production
 

Is there a site where I can find out how many H2's were made in each color (by model)? I have a 2005 Red Metallic SUT. I was just wondering how many were made. On Long Island there are H2's all over the place but I have yet to see an SUT in my color. Thanks.

I've looked for production numbers by year, color, etc. and havent had much luck...bump to get someone to post some good info.

I'm curious for all hummer models and years so I will know which combos are rare, etc.

Anyone? GM employee?

No one knows how many H2's there are? I was told roughly 20K per year and 2K of them are SUT's. I dont know if this is true though.

the full capacity of the AM General plant is said to be 40,000 units per year, all of which were made/sold in the '03 model year.

from wikipedia 29,000 in '04 and 23,000 in '05

from somewhere else, i read that (from a note posted early this year) 100,000 H2s had sold.

One Jerry York (board member at GM, i think) called for the end of the hummer brand, but was outvoted.

anyway, i have been curious about that as well - how popular is the H2? you see dozens of stories about how hummer sales are tanking and nobody wants them and so on. But it isn't true, even with the release of the H3, sales of the H2 are on pace to be ~20k for this year, and their initial goal for the H2 was 25,000.

as far as i can judge, it'll be 110-120,000 H2s sold by the end of this year.

The H3 sells at a much higher rate, more like 50,000/year, maybe more, i haven't dug around on that so much.

FWIW, thats higher volume that range rover or RR Sport or LR3. so more H2s than any given land rover, but not more than land rover en summe

These are actual GM production numbers, but they do not show a breakdown by type within a model.
I normally post the monthly figures in the H3 General Discussion Forum, but maybe I should duplicate the post over here for the H2 owners.

We should try to gather all of this info and post it somewhere by year, model, color, and options.
I would like to know how many adventure series pkgs are sold vs lux and base, how many SUT's vs SUV H2's are sold, etc.

F5, where can we find the breakdows by options? Or is that double top secret stuff??

I am suprised we dont have all this info somewhere on the site:confused: .

It's not top secret, but I really have no idea where to look. I know marketing has this information, but I don't know that many in marketing. GM just posts the sales numbers every month in the GM newsline.
