Is there not a light under the hood on our H2's???? Or is mine F-ed up?? Also, they should put a light in the SUT bed like most trucks have nowadays.

No light.
Yes they should. |
If I remeber right - the "back in the day" 03 had them, right?
|
Damn them!!!!!My 95 Tahoe had this kick ass light on a cord that extended like 6 feet and a normal hood light. I'll have to rig something up.
|
I agree... A cargo light and under hood light should be there.
|
Some of the early H2's had them. Mine in Nov 02 did not.

I've never had a car with an underhood light that was very useful anyhow. I keep a flashlight and a mini clamp-anywhere 150W worklight I can run off my inverter handy just in case.
|
Hey James....I'm sure Batchelor would gladly give you 10 cents on the dollar if you trade it/return it!

I noticed my 03 didn't have a light under the hood.
Neither does the 05. ![]() |

But if you want to check the oil at night, or add washer fluid it would be nice. It's a stupid thing to omit, IMO. |

If you stroke the floppy dipstick for a while it goes back into the dark hole a little easier ![]() ![]() But with it so dark I guess I'd have to rely on my imagination for that to work |
but at least when it happens the hole will already be lubed

My 03 built Aug. 02 has the light. My dipstick hates the light being on.
