SWIM WITH DA FISHIES

Anyone have any ideas for a snorkel? Anyone attempted or completed this ever-so stumping feat? Any help would be appreciated.

its a lot harder than raising the air intake...most of the electronics have to be waterproofed (not easy)...the H1 is "ready" for a kit, but its still expensive --7 grand maybe? but they have certain things like special brakelines that wont bind up under the pressure from the water...i can't imagine doing a normal production vehicle that wasn't pre-set up for such a conversion, but for the $$, i'm sure someone would figure it out

So your saying that the problem isnt in relocating the air intake, but worrying about electrical problems? dissapointing.

Anyone can add a snorkel, but it takes alot of extra work to make your vehicle "Waterproof".
There really isn't a sense in adding a snorkel unlees you go through the trouble of truly waterproofing your Hummer. If it's for looks, I wouldn't do it. I think the best example of what a snorkel does is "Imagine running a marathon while breathing through a straw"!
