here are a few pics of my H3's first time out. For some reason I like this spot. probubly because I didn't run into anyone> The trails are easy, but it's a nice run when you're alone.

yes I've heard never offroad alone. But If I waited for someone else to go I'd end up never going out.

This is just north of I-80 exit 62. This is the exit you take to Lakeside. Most people skip the tweenty miles stretch of BLM land before you come upon the bomb range. I've been wheeling out here for ten years and no one has messed with me. Come upon a marked fence and I just turn around.
There are a lot of dirt roads in the area. You really don't have to worry about the range it's well marked and easy to avoid.
Believe it it not at the end of one of these dirt roads there's a historical marker. Never thought I'd see one on a dirt road.
Some of the area has been designated limited use and you have to stay on the trails. But I don't mind. There's a lot of damage in other areas from little 4 wheelers. Over the years I've watch some areas along the highway become stripped of most of their vegitation. The desert can be fun but it is easily damaged and takes along time to heal.

here's a morning picture of my truck. An automatic brushless car was will not get all of this off. It will leave tiger stripes. Time for a hand wash.
