Door bezel help

Has anyone tried these door bezels? I have some chiped paint right next to the factory handle that these would cover perfectly. Are they 3m taped? I really do not want to take apart the door if I do not have too. I want to paint them black and hopefully just stick them on. Any help is appreciated.

you should drop them an e-mail before you buy it.. i bought the billet ones specifically for the reason that they are not taped to the door. It took longer to put it on, but looked better because it filled the gaps better and it had a taper to it..

Looks nice. Chipped paint is driving me crazy. I want it gone ASAP. I will call them. I just wondered if the tape caused anyone problems. Thanks
