What do you think??

Salt Lake City HUMMER 03-17-2005 11:28 PM

pretty sweet, how much for a set?

crash 03-18-2005 04:53 AM

They are still trying to build those things? I saw a short video about 6 years ago on them, but never have seen a single rig (outside the video) with them on...

VTSTOMPER 03-18-2005 12:38 PM

I have seen them on many 4wheelers...and for trucks...well only one full size dodge ram, and a geo tracker.

DH22G 03-18-2005 01:07 PM

probably because of cost??

Arizona Hummerboy 03-18-2005 01:44 PM

I seen them a few years back, and I think the cost back then was around $ 25,000 for a set.

Cost & the fact that they're not terribly durable. And the treads have a tendency to slip off.

We make these vehicles for the Forest Service. Notice the difference in track design? This vehicle will climb a wall you can't walk up.

That little thing, sure is cute

ROX 03-18-2005 07:57 PM

Are those tracks on your Hummer? I'd love to know how they work! I've always thought about getting a set, but haven't been real serious!
How do they work in snow? Were they super expensive? Or as much as a new set of wheels and tires?

Drty: That thing doesn't have windows and a heater!
