Adventure package suspension?

Since I am having alot of trouble finding an Adventure package with the options I want. I was wondering what does the off-road suspension actually encompass? Is there different shocks or is it all just the tires. My nearest dealer is in Omaha NE, and didn't order any adventure packages. They thought they found one in Minnesota.......sold, one in Denver........pinstripes. So, they are saying that they have their own "Adventure Package", which is pretty much amounts to 33" Goodyear MTR's. Is there any suspension benefits to the adventure pkg?, or is it just tires and lockers?

I am looking for boulder grey, adventure pkg., sunroof, Monsoon. thats it. shouldnt be too hard I wouldnt think. Hope to join you all soon.

As I recall, the adventure gives you different gearing, rear locker, 33" tires and I believe different shocks but not sure. Someone else with better knowledge will post I am sure.

Have them order you what you want.

The Adv. pack comes with the 4:1 transfer case, 33" tires, and rear locker. Worth every penny. Don't settle for some dealer concocted package. If you have to, go to another dealer.

the adventure package includes 33 inch tires, an upgraded borg warner transfer case, tuned shocks and an eaton e locker on the rear axle. do not be fooled by Huber trying to get you to buy a lux with big tires. If you are going to off road, you need the adventure package. PM me if you want as I work at a HUMMER dealership near you

You also get carpeted mats and if you dont get the monsoon you get a extra rear cubby compartment.

I think that only the adventure packages have the skid plate protection, too.

There are plenty of them with the adventure package out here in AZ. I've driven both and if you do a lot of hard off roading it's a must. The lower ratio low range is just one of the best features. If you never go off road you really don't need it.

Unless you want to look like you go off road.

All H3s have the same ammount of skid plate protection, no matter the package. But you can upgrade to the UC protection...

Tell them to do a search on the computer and dealer trade it. if they really want you Biz it's not hard. If not fly in to Albuquerque and my guy will sell you and you can drive it back.

Just kidding, I wanted it but barely could get the rig peroid. As stated, if your going to off-road get it. If not don't bother

I have a base package and did some serious off roading with it. The front differential broke. Not sure if the same would happen with the adventure package or not but you CAN take them off road no matter what model you have. The Adventure package does give you some more ability however.

Re: Adventure package suspension?

Well, I am going to pick up the base model tomorrow. They gave me an extra $500 on my trade; marker lights-brush guard-cross bows-33"in MTR's all at cost (or so they say), using my Supplier discount, and they are throwing in rubber floor mats. All for the monthly payment I wanted to pay for 48 mos. So I will be smiling tomorrow even without my Monsoon or Adventure Package. Anyway Nebraska is pretty flat for the most part and there shouldnt be much around to slow me down. I am sure some OMAHOG members could find a few obstacles for me :) . Thanks for all you guys and girls's help the past couple months while I was lurking and soaking it all in.
