to all sma brush guard owners...

have u had trouble with your brush guard rubbing the hood when you open and close it. i was showing off my rig at work tonight and i seen it was rubbing in the drivers side. thought about just putting a washer or two behind the mounting surface, anybody have any better ideals, it would be greatly appreciated.

maybe just try to bend out about a 1/4 inch . tie it to a tree or something and reverse lightly , just a little tug on the rubing side should fix it . maybe it was a little out of true when welded in jig .

I have no problem on mine, maybe you need to tighten up a little or the passenger side is not tight enough.

I wasnt rubbing on mine but it was really close. I was thinking of washers and they could probably work.

However, my issue fixed itself even better when I installed the new DOI winch system on my rig. I was going to use the washer method. Give that a try and let us know how it turns out.
