H2source

just a quick thanks to jason at H2source for finding a chrome piece for the rear of my H2 that was shown in a pic at H2source, but which wasn't a product that they usually offered. Thanks, i couldn't find the piece anywhere in webworld. :)

I also installed a RealWheels locking fuel door, and found that it isn't compatible with the gas housing that comes with the factory chrome fuel door.

The dealership ordered me the fuel flange (or gas housing or whatever the name is) that would come on H2s that don't have a factory chrome door, and from there the install was very easy.

The door looks great, and i hope it reduces the odds of a sugar incident or something similar.

on the fuel door......I was thinking about doing the same thing. What did the dealer charge you for the stock fuel flange housing?

I have a slightly used stock fuel thingy for half price of a new one. Let me know what the new one costs and you can have it for half plus shipping.

Re: H2source

the factory piece that comes on H2s that don't come with a factory chrom fuel-door was 6 bucks and took 1 day to arrive.

So it wasn't a big deal, just thought i'd note that if you have the factory chrome door the RealWheels door won't fit.

The RealWheels door mounts solidly & looks great.
