H3 2 months old & New to the Forum
 

First post and a proud new H3 owner for 2 months now! I have to say I have owned 3 Toyota 4runners and I love the H3 best....

When I was in the process of buying the H3 the "Stealer" was trying to talk me into the backup camera option and I was like nah, who needs that. I now find its hard to navigate wheeling on a trail or crawling through the mall. Has anyone installed a backup camera on their H3? If so, any suggestions?

I am looking at buying a combo Portable Nav + Back up camera like this one:

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Welcome. For the price of that nav, I'd say you'd be better off getting an indash nav system, like an avic-n2 or d2. New on ebay, after adding a backup cam, still cheaper than that one. Or just get a trailer hitch and use it as a feeler in tight spots. ;) :D

I'm using a Hitchcam. It helps a lot. You will find numerous expensive crashing-while-backing-up stories on this forum. Don't need that.
