Question to all AVIC owners
 

I just installed the AVIC-Z1 and I have had a very strange problem. Occasionally, when I start the vehicle, the stereo does not start up. If I turn it back off then on again, everything starts up fine. So far I have found 2 other D1 owners that have had the same problem happen. I'm just trying to narrow down the cause of the issue.

If you have had this problem, please respond.
1. Is your system a Monsoon system or not?
2. What interfaces did you use (PAC or Peripheral)?
3. Did you use the chime interface?
4. Did you add the iPod adapter or the NavTraffic adapter?

As I believe you already know, it has only happened to me once but here you go.

1. Is your system a Monsoon system or not? Monsoon
2. What interfaces did you use (PAC or Peripheral)? Don't remember off the top of my head but as I recall, same as you are using.
3. Did you use the chime interface? Same response as above
