Edelbrock Panhard Rod compared to stock?

I was looking at the panhard rod sold by Trail Duty and the stock one in the picture does not look like the one on my H2. My '06 panhard rod actually looks pretty hefty and am wondering if the Edelbrock is still better because the Edelbrock one in the pic looks small in comparison to the OEM one.

Also forgot to ask if the Edelbrock rod has provisions for that OEM cable that attaches to the stock panhard rod?
