Rattle/Squeaking from Front Interior
 

I have recently been getting a serious rattle/sqeaking noise coming from somewhere in the front driver's side door area below the A-pillar and dash. I can't tell where it is coming from because I have to be driving to hear it. Anyone had this problem?:confused:

The a/c vent/trim piece where u described the noise coming from, has a friction tape at the back of it. Perhaps this tape is missing or damaged in yours. Easy enough to check, remove the bolts, pull straight towards you.

If not, could very well be the outside windshield seal problem -- which noise always sounded somewhere inside the cabin.

I have been experiencing the same rattle that you are describing. I would like to hear from anyone who has solved the problem!!!
