After getting a lot of good information from this forum over the last month or so I placed my order at Detroit Hummer last week. I got the Adventure Package,black,5 speed and brush guard. A family member has a hook up at a local tire shop. Im looking at some Nitto Terra Grappler AT's in a 315.
Anyone have any experience with Detroit Hummer? My salesman seemed pretty knowledgeable and has called to keep me updated. Curious about their service department.
I cant wait to take it to my hunting property to see what it can do.

Other than their funky ads, and some advertising I see as suspect, they appear to be ok; haven't heard anything bad. I went to Friendly in Clinton Twp, primarily due to their reputation (which they have held up to), and their location.
You should be ok, and love the H3. Good luck.

Detroit hummer is ok, I went through hummer of novi (there sister store) they had a better inventory.

You guys are lucky. I'm down here in Frantic City NJ. The Closest Hummer dealer is in Turnersville NJ. That's about 1 hour ride from here.

The only prob is there stiker whores.!!! The next closest is in Penna. about 2.5 Hours from here. My biggest problem is finding a dealer who will deal since I'm going for a loaded H3 I want the best price I can get.

But I think I have enough info from this forum to find a dealer who will work with my GMID (Thanks F5).

If I have to go out of state to find a deal I will. Then I'll drive it home. And then figure out where to get it serviced.

I was tempted to buy an 06 off the lot with the recent incentives, but most of them had a lot of options I didnt want. The closest near match they could find was in Pennsylvania. They were willing to go get it for me if I wanted it. I was suprised by that offer. I am happy to wait a bit and get mine exactly the way I want it.

That's what I'm doing..waiting. I want it the way I want it. When you go to the Chicken Ranch ... You pick out and Pay for what you want:)

Buying an 06 now means you have a 1 year old brand new Hummer.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that"....:D
