Re: Kennebell chargers
KB is one of the most arrogant SOBs in the car hi-po biz. Keep calling. His s/c's are the best if intercooled. Hence, his ability to act that way and still make cash.

Nah...My winning personality will win them over.If not I will fly out there and shout mean names at them in person. You think that was too many?:) |
Re: Kennebell chargers
KEN.......You were wrong!!!!!I bugged them until they caved to my wishes!
What a Big major pain... Good luck to all who have this system... |
Re: Kennebell chargers
Not only are they impossible to get a hold of, their tech support is lacking. I had a KB supercharger on a Dodge Ram that ran extremely lean, too lean to detonate fortunately. They were unable to provide any assistance to the diagnostic shop the truck was at and eventually resulted in the diagnostic shop advising them on how to measure flow rates from the injectors. That was after 3 weeks of waiting for calls to be returned and getting through for spec requirements from Kenne Bell. Good product, truely worthless support. Save yourself and go magnacharger!

Re: Kennebell chargers
Our 03 has been KB charged for over 2 years now.
Well 1st was a debacle with Whipple, once i got all that crap off it, it's performed flawlessly except for GM related failures. I seriously need an intercooler in the Tejas Heat, Cmon KB bring it. D |

What kind of crap did you take off of it and what were the GM related failures? |

Back in the day when KB was making a name for himself running Buick GN's I used many of his parts and support was great. I guess they've gotten too big for their own good. |
Re: Kennebell chargers
Denny, I remeber now. How does it run now?
|
Re: Kennebell chargers
I wished i had something to compare it too, it's never been a Tire smoker.
As far as i know it runs fine. at least when it's not broke. Replacing the AC sys. now. Hopefully this is the last thing for a while, D |
Re: Kennebell chargers
I guess that my question should have been, does it run better now that you put the larger injectors, bypassed the extra injector and installed the Nelson programmming as compared to before?
|
Re: Kennebell chargers
Oh good grief yeah.
But it's been a painful endeavor I'd likely not pursue again. D |
